#CanadianMusicWeek Ten Second Epic and Lyon take over Adelaide Hall

On Thursday, May 8th, 2014, Adelaide Hall hosted Black Box’s 10 year anniversary party for the Canadian Music Week. Many amazing acts performed such as Seas, The Provincial Archive, Lyon, The Glorious Sons, Living With Lions, and Ten Second Epic.

We were able to catch Lyon’s set and she managed to keep the crowd hyped up while playing the violin and piano during her whole performance.  Lyon’s electronic-indie genre music captured the attention of many new fans listening to her for the first time. She played her hit single “Floating” which gave the audience a melodic feel of how she captured her feelings with her music. We interviewed Lyon a few days before her performance, which you can check out here. Lyon also covered Lorde’s hit single “Team” which you can check out the video performance below.

Right after Lyon’s set, we captured Ten Second Epic’s final performance.
