Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle were words that we were always told to live by. But now it’s time to actually put that term into use. The annual Green Living show returned for its annual event at a new, bigger venue this year, the Metro Convention Centre on March 27-29, 2015.
Health, fitness, beauty, cars – you name it and everything was there. Including sessions to inspire, motivate, and teach with health experts.
Other attractions included the Green Living test drive, where people could physically go in and drive them. BMW also featured their new electric 2015 i3.
With over hundreds of different fashion and beauty vendors , this was the perfect event to look for the perfect product for your skin. Many beauty professionals were on site to inform consumers of the harmful ingredients that go into many of the products today. One of our favourite vendors, Clean Cert professional Sofiya Chorniy explained how many mainstream products are made with dangerous chemicals which can affect long term skin problems. Clean Cert ensures that brands with the certified Clean Seal means there are absolutely no dangerous chemicals. Some of the products that are certified include Kynk Naturals, and MarieNatie.
One of the best thing about these events are the variety of food & drink samples to try. This was the perfect opportunity to learn more about healthy eating, saving money, and wasting less. Some vendors were even giving out entire boxes of samples, such as LÄRABAR.
Did we mention there were free Yoga and Fitness classes? The Sweat Equity Yoga & Fitness stage featured opportunities for people to take part in a workshop, chat with professionals or even participate in a free class. From Vinyasa to Moksha, the top trainers and teachers were in attendance to help people reach their fitness goals one step at a time.
This event had it all. We are already counting down to the 2016 Green Living Show!
