Last week, the streets of downtown Toronto were filled with the people in long fur coats and hats, stilettos, and more of the latest fashion trends.. which means only one thing, it must have been World MasterCard Fashion Week (WMCFW)! Once again, WMCFW took over David Pecaut Square to showcase many different designer’s Fall collections.
Some of the memorable runway collections were Pink Tartan, which was one of the opening shows. Pink Tartan delivered a very 70’s style with oversized tissues running along the middle of the runway. Very modern yet super chic.
Mackage, another memorable show. Suits star Meghan Markle even showed up to see this amazing runway. The Montreal based brand drew out winter inspired parkas, fur coats, down coats with high waisted ski pants, and lots of feather!
Some other notable impressive runways were Kania, which you can get a better insight on the show here.
The closing show, was none other than Mikael D. The collection was asian – inspired with colours red, gold and black as the theme of the runway. Every year making a huge impression, a gorgeous white ball gown made its way at the end leaving everyone breath taken.
